Melanie Creek, founder and artistic director of Xpress Dance Company, continues to be active in the entertainment industry as a choreographer and guest teacher for countless studios throughout the U.S. She is also on faculty for VIP dance competition. After earning her Bachelor of Performing Arts degree, Melanie’s journey in New York began in regional theatres, industrials, and television. Her credits include; Grease, Crazy for You, Showboat, Hard Rock Café Live, a Nickelodeon video shoot, Pepsi and many more. She continues to educate and inspire dancers of all ages by demonstrating discipline, humbleness, and admiration in all that she does. Her choreography has been awarded many prestigious titles as she brings a “spin” to contemporary style. | ||||||||||||||||||

Dance has always been of utmost importance in Mandy’s life. She has taken dance for 10 years, being part of more than 30 dance programs. Her passion for performing is matched by her desire and ability to choreograph/instruct various styles of dance. Mandy currently teaches combo classes along with jazz and hip hop. For the past 6 years, she has choreographed more than 16 shows since 2003, including color guard and dance routines for Terry High School and Hinds Community College. One-hundred percent of these shows were given superior ratings, in both choreography and execution, at the national level. She has also helped coordinate many dramas and plays at various churches around the area. In addition to dance, Mandy owns an award-winning photography and E-commerce business. | ||||||||||||||||||

Brittany Nunes started her dance training at Patricia Penenori Dance Studio at age 6 where she concentrated on ballet. At age 8 she began to explore other dance techniques such as modern and jazz. She entered her first competition at Miami's Youth Fair, performing a modern solo and winning first place. For a few years she began to enter competitions, regional and national, winning gold and platinum. She got accepted to Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre's summer dance intensive in New York for 6 weeks in 2003.She attended Ballet Magnificat!located in jackson, Ms. program for four weeks in 2004.. In 2006 she went to Ad Deum's dance intensive for a week in Houston, Tx.May 2009, Brittany recieved her B.F.A in Dance.Brittany has been choreographed on various choreographers such as Marlena Mencia, Yanis Pikires, Andrea Shelley, Hope Boykin, Mathew Rushing, Randall Flinn, Bill Wade, and Stephen Wynne. Brittany has also choreographed around Miami for various dance studios, schools, and soloists.Brittany is currently choreographing on TALK dance co. whose artistic director is Stephen Wynne. | ||||||||||||||||||

Cindy Edmondson is originally from Brandon, MS and has performed in The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Alice in Wonderland, and many others. Her training also includes summer sessions at Alabama Ballet, Joffrey Ballet NYC, Joffrey Midwest, Washington Ballet, Orlando Ballet, American Repetory Ballet, and Complexions Contemporary Dance. At the age of 16, Cindy decided to attend Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, AL. At ASFA, Cindy was trained with reknown teachers like Thaddeus Davis and Fabrice Lemire, and she got to perform with Mr. Davis's company in 2003 at Jacob's Pillow. At ASFA, Cindy performed in Paquita, Graduation Ballet, Les Deux Pigeons, and many other classical and contemporary works. After Graduation, Cindy attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and performed in Balanchine's Serenade, Cinderella, Black Swan Pas de Deux, Peter Merz's Solstice, and Kassandra Taylor's Mourning Pointe and DisConnect. Cindy performed at the Kennedy Center in 2006 for Kassandra Taylor's Mourning Pointe at ACDFA's National College Dance Festival. After Graduating Point Park University in 2007, Cindy joined Apex Contemporary Dance Theatre and enjoyed two seasons performing all original works from Artistic Director David Reuille. Cindy is very excited to be back at home in Mississippi, and sharing her love of dance with the next generation of dancers! | ||||||||||||||||||
| Kenna Culpepper |

Kenna began her dance training at the age of 2 and started competing by the age of 5. She has studied under Melanie Creek for 11 years during which time she won countless awards and scholarships. Kenna has taken master classes from many well-known artists and choreographers including Mia Michaels, Sonya Tayeh, and Billy Larson. In 2005, she took class from the principle dancer of the Broadway show Movin’ Out. She has taken class at Broadway Dance Center in New York City and the The Edge in Los Angeles. In 2010, Kenna was a performer in the Miss Mississippi Pageant. She is also involved in missions in the Dominican Republic and Haiti where she has taught master classes to the students at local churches. Kenna has a passion for dance that she wants to spread to her students. |
